Alley Fest cometh: It’s all about Texas bands

AlleyFest is

going back to its root. The 3-day street festival, will feature all Texas Bands during its 2013 Music Fest performances. Scheduled for May 10-13 in downtown Longview, the AlleyFest will once again be the foundation of great music, fine art, arts and crafts, Kids Fest, and the annual 5k and 10k Alley Run courses.

This year’s music will be all about Texas – that is Texas bands. The Friday night lineup on the Budlight Music State will be Westbound 21 and Bleu Edmonson. Saturday night will bring out Lulu and the Vipers, Kayla Reeves, and Jonathan Tyler and The Northern Lights rocking downtown. Local street musicians will be featured all weekend as well as activities for the entire family.

Mark your calendars for AlleyFest 2013 – May 10-12 in downtown Longview. To learn more about this year’s festival, go to www.alleyfest.org or contact the Longview Main Street office at 903.753-3281
