AMBUCS race draws community, celebrity runners

Benson Osoro and Jacob Phillips came in 1st and 2nd in the half-marathon race at the recent race benefiting AMBUCS. Osoro a Kenyan marathon runner came in at one hour and ten minutes.  He had hoped to finish earlier but the terrain was different. “The hills and turns slow down a runner,” he said. “Nonetheless, the race is for a good cause and it was worth it. Phillips who ran into second place concurred. “The course was challenging,” he said. “There were several hills and turns to contend with on the race.”
AMBUCS is grateful to all the volunteers, runners, sponsors and supporters who made the race a great event.
