Landscape contractors, school district and park employees, professional turf managers and homeowners wanting to maintain a healthy, beautiful lawn will want to make plans to attend the annual East Texas Turfgrass Conference on Thurs, Feb. 3.
The annual conference will be held in the Texas AgriLife Extension and Research Center in Overton. Registration for the program begins at 8:00 a.m. with the program starting at 8:30 a.m. A registration fee of $25 includes an all you can eat catfish lunch.
Topics that will be presented at the conference include: Water and Disease Management in Turf. A Specialist View on What’s Going On In Texas Turf, Weed Control, Herbicide Update for Turf and Tree Maintenance in Turf Areas, Armyworm, Grasshoppers and Other Insects and Impacts of Reduced Budgets on Turf
Sites. These topics will be presented by specialist with the Texas AgriLife Extension Service.
