Two Longview High School art students have qualified to put their work against some of the best in the state, after winning All-Region and All-Area honors recently at a competition in Whitehouse.
Another 19 students brought home All-Region medals – all receiving superior ratings from the judges.
“As you can imagine, these students worked incredibly hard and, in many cases, since August,” art instructor Jeff Hull said.
The two area winners are set to compete in the state competition in Bryan on April 13-14.
