Business Expo slated

The 19th Annual Business to Business Expo presented by the Longview Chamber of Commerce is set for May 6, 2014 at the Maude Cobb Convention Center.

Admission is free to the public and the show is targeted to help businesses connect with other businesses. Longview Business Expo hours are 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. “The Expo is running concurrently with the Chamber’s Small Business Awards Luncheon. All exhibitors have tickets to lunch so we are closing the Expo from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to give the exhibitors and their invited guests an opportunity to attend the luncheon,” explained Leska Parker, Event Director.

Longview B2B Expo allows one-stop-connections for all business, whether start-up, entrepreneurs, or long-standing businesses in the community.

The Expo is emphasizing the business to business benefits of the show.

Business Expo provides the opportunity for chamber members to highlight their business to other members and Longview businesses at large. This is the area’s largest comprehensive business to business event.  Activity at this show helps to strengthen our local economy.  Businesses not exhibiting in the show are invited to attend and enjoy the benefits of B2B connections that are available.

Three business development sessions have been scheduled and are available to any who wish to attend. Navigating the Intergenerational Workplace will be led by Brian Brandt. CEO of Core Insights; Business Healthcare Reform will be led by Dusty Singleton, Insurance Agent with Copeland Insurance Group; and Improve Employee Development led by Burr Warne, CEO and Founder of Global Classroom. The courses run consecutively at 9:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.  There is a fee and registration is required. On- line registration is available at http://longviewchamber.com/Business-EXPO.
