Carolyn Todd named president

She not only graduated from Lindale High School, she has also worked for more than 30 years to serve the school district that provided her with an education.  Now Carolyn Todd is ready to serve in another role for Lindale: Alumni Association President.
She is a 1961 graduate of Lindale High School.  She currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for Lindale ISD.  Carolyn previously served Lindale as a second, fourth and fifth grade teacher.  She is also the best prices former principal of Lindale Primary School and the Early Childhood Center.
“I am honored to be selected as president of the Lindale Alumni Association,” Carolyn said. “I look forward to working with former students and staff members to create an active and effective organization that continues to promote Generic whithout

education and renew old friendships and acquaintances.”
Carolyn was appointed president of the association by the Lindale ISD Education Foundation.  The foundation established the association which will fall under its umbrella. The foundation is a nonprofit organization that recognizes student achievement and provides funds for innovative classroom projects not funded or under-funded by the Lindale ISD operating budget.
The Foundation’s goals for the Lindale ISD Alumni Association are: To provide opportunities for alumni to share in current activities in Lindale ISD; receive and share information; create a database organized by graduating class for alumni to reconnect; and to enhance activities at class reunions.
The association also plans to recognize former Eagles who have made great achievements in their careers and community through the Distinguished Alumni Awards Program.
