Celebrate Life

Texas Oncology Foundation recent 5K run was very successful. One hundred and twenty runners plus sixteen vendors, neighbors, family and friends attended this first time event to celebrate life and support cancer survivors. All funds raised from the run stays in our community. The funds assist patients in time of their needs. Texas Oncology Foundation was established in 1997. It provides support to cancer patients in the communities where they live, work and receives treatment. According to the Foundation, a cancer diagnosis affects the whole family, and the Foundation’s mission is to help ease the burden needy families’ face.

The Foundation is working to develop programs that offer hope and encouragement to cancer patients and their loved ones through:

  • Patient support and survivor ship groups
  • Patient and caregiver education
  • Providing connections to existing local support services
  • Supporting cancer research
