Pine Tree ISD honors staff members

During the recent annual Beacon awards reception – special event that recognizes Pine Tree Staff members for making a special difference in the life of a student, memories mingling with teary eyes was  common place.
The process centers on student’s essays written about a person from the school district that made a difference in their life.  Both the students and the teachers chosen from these submissions were recognized at the awards reception.
The 2012 Beacon honorees and student essay winners are as follows:
Primary Campus –Teacher Maria Robles honored by student Carla Muniz
Elementary Campus –Teacher Katie Hammer honored by student Oliver Lara
Intermediate Campus –Teacher Amanda Pavlock honored by student Lucas Ericson
Middle School –Teacher Pat Carlisle honored by student Ryane Read
Junior High –Teacher Andy Cain honored by student Timothy Willett
High School –Teacher Jennifer Wilbur honored by student Anthony Khan
High School –Teacher Eunice Morton honored by student Lucy Cheng
Other highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the 2012 Regen Stiles Teaching Excellence Award was presented to Eunice Morton a teacher at the high school.   Music provided by High School  Band members provided music,  art displays by the PTHS Art Department provided art displays  and Pine Tree High School Culinary served refreshments.
