Powerspeak

The Longview Public Library is pleased to offer the use of Powerspeak, an online language database available free to library patrons.
Powerspeak provides users with the ability to learn, apply, and enjoy a new language quickly and more proficiently using a variety of proven methods that engage all types of learners.
Powerspeak allows users to create a user name and password in order to bookmark progress. Users may choose from Spanish, French, German, Mandarin Chinese and ESL For Spanish Speakers.
“We are excited to be able to offer this to our patrons and we hope they will utilize it to its fullest extent,” stated Library Director Kara Spitz. Powerspeak is one of several databases available at no charge to library patrons. Other available databases range from genealogy to academic research to news. To access the databases from home, patrons will need to enter a Longview Public Library card number.
To access Powerspeak, visit the Longview Public Library website at www.LongviewLibrary.com, and then click on Databases under the Services tab. For more information, contact the Longview Public Library at 903-237-1350.
