Swim Center, Ingram Pool opens
To kick-off the summer swimming season, the City of Longview Parks and Recreation Department will open Longview Swim Center and Ingram Pool with a free Splash Day event. During Splash Day, from Noon – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, admission to the pools will be free.
Longview Swim Center, located on the campus of Pine Tree High School at 1111 W. Fairmont St., includes a recreation pool with water slide and raindrop spray feature as well as a competition pool with 8 race lanes and a diving area. Ingram Pool, located at Ingram Park at 1400 N. Tenth St., includes a water slide and raindrop spray feature.
