Tyler Pounds Regional Airport Awarded 9.8 Million


Tyler Pounds Regional Airport has received its largest Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant in its history. On Aug. 26, the City of Tyler Council authorized Tyler Pounds Regional Airport to accept an Airport Improvement Grant from the FAA totaling $9,841,711. Longview airport to receive extra funds

U.S. Senator John Cornyn of Texas has announced Longview’s East Texas Regional Airport will be receiving a federal grant of $461,555 to finance upgrading airport facilities. Pounds Field getting busier

While many American airports are seeing a decrease in business Tyler’s Pounds Field is staying busy.
