UT Tyler slates religion debate

The University of Texas at Tyler will hold a public roundtable discussion about various religions 9 a.m. – noon Saturday, Sept. 17 in the UT Tyler Fine Arts Building, room 1009, Dr. Martin Slann, College of Arts and Sciences dean, announced. Wesley-McCabe celebrates 12 years of merger

Wesley-McCabe Methodist Church had its humble beginnings in 1896 in the home of one John Patillo.  Seven members comprised the congregation.  A Reverend Taylor Moore was the first (and unpaid) pastor, but following several brief pastorates the Reverend S.W.
