Improvement talk

District 3 residents started arriving early at Broughton Community Center for the latest town hall meeting. Extra chairs had to be brought in for the bigger-than-expected crowd. My grandmother recently made the transition from living alone to a nursing home. She will be 93 years old this month. My family credits her toy poodle, Mittzy, with helping her remain in her home as long as she did. Students at Orr Elementary School are recognized for showing ownership, respect, and responsibility

This six weeks Alondra Torres, a second grader, won the bicycle.

Teachers and staff record positive behaviors through a Cub Pride Referral system. These students are recognized daily at the morning assembly. Each slip is then placed into a huge drawing for a bicycle on a 6 weeks basis. zp8497586rq
