Sales tax weekend nears

 Texas Comptroller Susan Combs reminds shoppers the annual sales tax holiday is scheduled for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 -10. Foundation award colleges

  Representatives from Kilgore College, Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) and Texarkana College recently met on the NTCC campus in Mount Pleasant to receive a $200,000 grant from the Texas Pioneer Foundation.
