Longview, TX – East Texas Montessori Prep Academy (ETMPA) celebrated its kindergarten Class of 2026 during four special graduation ceremonies recognizing students’ growth, learning, and achievements throughout the school year.

A total of 520 students participated in the celebration, joined by family members, teachers, staff, and community supporters who gathered to honor the milestone moment. The ceremonies featured student performances before honoring the students for their year of hard work at ETMPA.

“This first year as principal of ETMPA has been both inspiring and rewarding. Watching our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building a strong culture of excellence and community has reminded me daily of the incredible potential within our learning community,” said ETMPA Principal Faith Newhouse-Greer.
Families, teachers, and staff celebrated students for embracing the Montessori approach to learning through independence, collaboration, and hands-on exploration. Throughout the year, kindergarten students built foundational academic and social skills while developing a love for learning that will continue as they advance in their educational journeys.

Attendees applauded as students received certificates and celebrated completing an important first step in their academic careers.

Principal Newhouse-Greer expressed pride in what her students, families, and staff have accomplished together, “and I am even more excited about what lies ahead for ETMPA!”
